The mission of the Delaware County School Counselors Association is to promote excellence in professional school counseling in service to students.

     In January of 2007, a group of K-12 counselors met to discuss re-establishing the Delaware County School Counselors Association.  Within nine months, the committee collected the names and addresses of all the school counselors in Delaware County, established a treasury and planned four professional development activities for the 2007- 2008 school year.  We are proud to report all four activities were executed, however, not without the support of all of YOU – the private and public school counselors of Delaware County! 

     Because of the overwhelming support and need for continued school counselor professional development we are launching this website for members to have as an additional resource.  We are still work in progress so be sure to check back often for updates or email if you need more information!

     Please remember to update your membership for the 2008- 2009 school year!

NO SCHOOL P.O.'S ACCEPTED
Because the members of the executive board are volunteers and full time school counselors in the organization, we respectively request ALL registrations and memberships be accompanied with cash or a check and not a purchase order.  We work to plan activities that are both beneficial and affordable so that the financial obligation is minimal to attend if it's not supported by your district.  Thank you for understanding.
